Education Fact Sheet

CPIW, CPIM and DAE Qualifiers

All NAIW Programs must be a minimum of 6-Hours to qualify for the CPIW, CPIM and DAE Designations (with the exception of the Sales Proficiency and Relationship Knowledge 12-Hour Program and the Communicate with Confidence 10-Hour Program).

The following is a list of accepted NAIW Educational Programs to receive your designation
:

Rules of the Road
Communicate with Confidence (10-Hours)
Underwriting for Non-Underwriters
Leadership Development
Mentors and Protégés
Life Insurance for Customer Service Representatives
Successful Negotiations
Cyber Crime – The Hidden Exclusions
I Can Series (to consist of one 4-Hour program and 6 of the 30-Minute programs)
Sales Proficiency and Relationship Knowledge (12-Hours)

There are currently 3 CE classes in the library:

Errors & Omissions (1 hour),
Wind Mitigation (1 hour) and
Reinsurance, Taking the Industry By Storm (2 hours).

The Council charges $5 per person, per hour of CE, to use the class; the Association keeps the rest.  These classes are excellent fund raising tools, especially if the subject CE is required by the State of Florida.

As classes are added, the website will be updated.

Some of the 30 Minute I CAN Series instructor manuals are available for loan to Associations.  There’s no charge for the instructor manuals, just return them to the Council when you’re finished with them.
